I received this physical ARC a few weeks ago, and have been meaning to pick this book up and read it, but I needed to be in the right headspace to read science fiction.
This book was formatted through an interesting interview and third person POV back and forth through different timelines.
It starts off very intense which helps to draw you in even though the format makes your brain feel slightly uncomfortable at first since it is new. Then by chapter two you already are at a familiar format, and the interview POV becomes easier to understand with more context.
I had to put this book down to say “OH MY GOD” out loud multiple times, and my husband walked by me while reading this at a perfect time and was wondering what was wrong with me. I had to explain that the book was really good and something wild just happened.
I did not expect any of the twists and turns that came with this one, so huge props for that.
I would have liked for things to be explained just slightly more and would have preferred an epilogue, because the ending had me feeling a type of way. I could not put this one down.
Heavily recommend this one to science fiction fans! This is a time travel, wild sci fi thriller that is a fun read and will have you biting your nails.
Thank you to Penguin Random House Riverhead books for sending me a physical ARC! I am leaving this honest review voluntarily.
