Full Speed To A Crash Landing

Beth Revis

Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️

This book was so well done for being as short as it is. Space is a really tough environment to write in, since it’s likely you have zero experience to draw on, so you are forced to rely on non-memory and creativity. This is my favorite part of the genre – seeing how far creativity can go.

This book takes it to the window and to the wall. It makes you laugh. It makes you cry. It makes you hungry. The entire time, you are in the room with these characters.

How did Beth Revis do it? We may never know. That woman has a lot of talent in just her pinky finger.

She reposted my Instagram post about this book and it made my entire month. She’s genuinely an incredibly kind soul, and is the author of Across The Universe, the book that got me into reading when I was younger.
