Ok so this book altered my brain chemistry and introduced me to a new genre. This is a huge win.
Why I loved this book:
-amazing trans representation
-RGB video game narrative mixed in with fantasy world building blew my mind
-the cover
-the banter and humor
-the world building
-the writing style
-the science
-the adventures
-the creativity within the reincarnations
-character development
- pacing
What you want to know before picking this one up:
-one of the main characters is literally a giant spider. I’m terrified of those.
This one is COZY TOO. It was giving city of ember mixed with my favorite video game mixed with my favorite urban fantasy books mixed with a giant hug mixed with some chocolate and dancing lights. I will appreciate this book for the serotonin it gave me. Thank you for altering my brain chemistry. I now need to check out more books in this genre and see more works from this author.
The execution, the writing style, the cover, the blurb, 10000/10 for me.
