Author Interviews:

hi, are you an author or publisher wanting to do an interview with me? This is the correct place to contact me to get in touch.

I would love to participate in more interviews, but unfortunately, right now my bandwidth is not big enough for me to be able to set up Interviews, follow through with them and, then do a blog post in an effective formal way that the SEO looks good and that it contributes to your brand in a positive manner.

Right now, I am actively recovering from being very ill and so any additional labor, especially if I am not receiving any sort of a physical book seems like a lot of additional effort to me, and while I would love to connect more with authors and help to boost authors more, I simply do not have the capacity currently and I want to make sure that when I do that it is done really well and that you as an author or as a publisher are incredibly happy with the results.

Coming from a background in public relations, I understand good interview from a bad interview but I also know how much effort and time it takes to set up an interview to make sure that the questions are solid and to make sure that everything looks good. It is a bit of a project and it can be more time intensive and labor intensive than reading the book itself

I currently do ARC reading as a way to read horribly as I am low income. Without arc reading, I would have to simply stick to Kindle unlimited and the library which isn’t bad, but I have genuinely felt like I have been running out of books to read and I cannot afford to purchase the books that I want. They are simply not accessible and not affordable to me at $15 per e-book.

I have to pay for face wash and soap and basic food and my dog food and in this economy right now I don’t have hundreds to spend on Books monthly. I read about two books a day 2 to 3 books a day when I’m on a roll and sometimes I’ll take a break from reading.

I am more likely to be OK with working with an author if I have connected with him in the past and if they aren’t incredibly formal.

When I do start doing interviews, I want to make sure I have a bit of a set up for my camera. I want to make sure that I actually have the confidence to be able to put them on that. I have a schedule in mind so that there is consistent flow for people to be excited about authors coming and that it is a two-way street so that I can reach out to authors that I’m also interested in working with..

As of now, I am simply doing book reviews and trying to figure out what I like to read.

I actually had to delete my other social media accounts due to toxicity and harassment so I really need to be treated with utmost respect.

I will worship the ground you walk on as an author, and I will fight and defend for you all day long so long as I am treated properly with respect and not harassed. You would think I would not have to say this, but unfortunately, I’ve had way too many instances with authors being incredibly rude and weird towards me.

So if you have emailed me for an author interview and I didn’t respond, it’s simply because I don’t know how to put this into words in an email and say I’m extremely burnt down and recovering from illness and don’t have the capacity right now, but I want to, and I plan to in the future.

Thank you for your patience and understanding because I do eventually want to connect more with authors in the future. There are a few authors that I absolutely adore, and that are my superheroes and it would be an absolute dream come true to be able to talk to them beyond email exchanges like I would be walking on the moon. I just want to make sure I can be my best self for those experiences.
